Your customers aren't all in one country.
Your SMS messaging shouldn't be either.

Growing businesses sell abroad, hire across time zones, and support customers who speak different languages.
But most messaging platforms make international texting an afterthought, burying it behind add-on pricing, limited country lists, or spotty delivery.

International messaging can feel unpredictable.

Sakari gives you clear delivery status insights so you can understand what’s happening with every message—across countries, carriers, and campaigns.

Track message states from send to delivery, including failures and errors, so you’re never left guessing. With detailed status indicators and error reporting, you can quickly identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and improve performance.

Monitor delivery, engagement, and responses across global audiences—all from one centralized dashboard.

Flexible Sender Options, Built for Global Messaging

Eligible accounts include one dedicated phone number based on your location—available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, or France. This number is automatically provisioned and remains tied to your account as you get started.

For messaging outside these regions, Sakari uses a shared pool of numbers to ensure you can still reach your audience globally without additional setup.

As your needs grow, you can add dedicated numbers in additional countries or configure advanced sender options based on your use case.

In supported markets, alphanumeric sender IDs are also available—allowing you to send messages using your brand name instead of a phone number.

Global FAQs

A global SMS platform enables businesses to send text messages to customers in over 160 countries from a single account without switching tools, managing multiple regional providers, or dealing with limited country lists that restrict international growth.

Most SMS platforms were built for the US market and added international messaging as an afterthought, burying global capabilities behind add-on pricing, limited country availability, or unreliable delivery. Sakari was built to work globally from day one, providing comprehensive international coverage through one unified platform.

Mix and match messaging across countries on one plan with transparent per-segment rates for each destination. Reach customers in Australia, the UK, France, Spain, Brazil, Canada, and everywhere in between without switching between regional tools or encountering unexpected deliverability issues that plague platforms treating international messaging as an add-on feature.

GlobalSense AI automatically matches each message to the best available local phone number for the recipient's country in real time, making international messages feel local and improving both deliverability and response rates without manual configuration.

Customers are significantly more likely to read and respond to text messages from phone numbers that appear local rather than foreign numbers that trigger skepticism or get filtered by carriers. GlobalSense analyzes recipient countries and intelligently selects appropriate sender numbers from your available number pool, ensuring messages appear to originate locally whenever possible.

This intelligent routing happens automatically behind the scenes without requiring manual number assignment for different markets. Configure your number inventory once, and Sakari handles the logic ensuring Australian customers see Australian numbers, UK customers see UK numbers, and French customers see French numbers, all from a single message send.

Scheduling your SMS campaigns at the right time makes a real difference in engagement. A perfectly written message sent at 3am gets ignored or deleted.

Sakari's scheduling features give you full control over when your messages go out. Choose the timezone and delivery window that makes sense for your audience, set it once, and send with confidence.

Whether you're running a campaign for a US-based list or an international one, you decide the exact time your messages are sent—so you can plan around business hours, promotions, or any window that fits your strategy.

No guesswork, no missed sends. Just reliable, precise delivery on your schedule.

Yes, global SMS integrates with existing business tools through native connections to HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, Pipedrive, Slack, and over 9,000+ additional applications via Zapier and open API access.

Global messaging only provides value when it fits into existing workflows rather than requiring teams to adopt entirely new systems. Sakari connects directly to the CRM and business platforms teams already use, enabling international text messaging triggered by the same events and data powering current operations.

Trigger international texts directly from your CRM when contacts in different countries enter specific stages, automate follow-up sequences across time zones based on customer behavior, and keep every conversation in one inbox regardless of origination country. Integration eliminates the fragmentation where domestic and international messaging require separate platforms or manual coordination.

Track SMS delivery across different countries through centralized reporting showing message status from send to delivery, including failures and errors, providing visibility into international messaging performance that often feels unpredictable.

Sakari provides clear delivery status insights revealing what's happening with every message across countries, carriers, and campaigns. Detailed status indicators and error reporting enable quick issue identification, problem troubleshooting, and performance improvement without guessing why messages succeed in some markets but fail in others.

Monitor delivery rates, engagement metrics, and response patterns across global audiences from one dashboard. This unified visibility reveals which countries show strong performance, where deliverability issues require attention, and how international campaigns compare to domestic messaging, enabling data-driven optimization of global SMS strategy.

Sakari supports several sender types depending on your use case, volume, and target country:

Dedicated Local Numbers (10DLC): Eligible accounts get a dedicated local number automatically provisioned in the US, Canada, or UK when you sign up. France and Belgium are included free of charge, with options to add dedicated numbers in more countries as your messaging grows. Dedicated numbers give customers a consistent, recognizable sender identity for ongoing conversations.

Toll-Free Numbers: Toll-free numbers are a strong option for businesses sending moderate-to-high volumes in the US and Canada. They offer higher throughput than standard local numbers, faster setup than short codes, and support conversational, informational, and marketing message types. Toll-free numbers require a one-time verification process (free of charge, typically approved within 3 business days) to maximize deliverability.

Short Codes: Short codes are 5- or 6-digit numbers built for high-volume, high-speed messaging — ideal for large-scale marketing campaigns, time-sensitive alerts, and emergency communications. Sakari supports both random and vanity short codes and currently provisions them for the US, Canada, UK, and New Zealand. Note that short codes require an application and provisioning process that can take up to 8 weeks.

Alphanumeric Sender IDs: In supported markets, you can display your brand name instead of a phone number — great for reinforcing brand recognition where this sender type is permitted by carriers.

Shared Number Pool: For countries where you haven't yet added a dedicated number, Sakari's shared number pool ensures you can still reach global audiences.
